The total paid leave available is a result of two different government orders, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (extended by the Consolidated Appropriations Act*) and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, taking into consideration the period between 4/1/2020 and 9/30/2021, which add up to a maximum total of 130 days of paid leave. Depending on your situation, the combined provisions of these acts could add up to a maximum of $32,220 per individual, distributed as a refund. This credit is not a loan. Once you know your credit amount, it’s just $1,995 to complete the process. Eligible applicants will receive a check in the mail or direct deposit from the IRS corresponding to their credit amount
